  Just My Luck

“This is just my luck,” I groaned as I stared out the window of my apartment. Dark clouds were looming high in the sky. It appeared as though any moment I could be face to face with a downpour. Of course, this happened after I had spent nearly two hours getting ready for him.

“Jill, just hurry over to your car and you’ll make it in time.” Sometimes I would say things aloud just to make myself feel better about terrible situations. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me this time.

As soon as I stepped outside, the sound of thunder clapped into the air. Like a broken sprinkler resting above my head, rain flooded all around me. My formerly flat-ironed hair was now a wet nest that swirled around my face.

I felt like crying, but I couldn’t show up puffy-eyed for one of the most attractive men I had ever seen. Walker was the alarmingly handsome gentleman who had scheduled this secret afternoon tryst. He was a thirty-six-year-old stud with steel blue eyes, a delicious smile, and chiseled build due his rock-climbing hobby. Not to mention, he had the most beautiful cock I had ever seen.

The two of us were so busy with classes that we had to fit in our romps into a daily planner. I made sure to be discreet in my notes, though I always used a pink pen to put a W with a heart around it. Just seeing the note would bring a heat wave across my body.

Having a fling wasn’t necessarily my top choice of romantic encounters. In high school, I had a lasting crush on a nerdy guy named Allen Dunbar. We shared a kiss on prom night– when both of our dates ditched us to be with friends. However, after going to different colleges, things never worked out between us.

Allen was cute, but Walker was drop dead gorgeous. Though I would have liked to say that I was dating him, the truth was, Walker wasn’t just my lover– he was also my geology professor. The study doesn’t sound very sexy, but Professor Walker Bellamy was notorious for swooning every girl in his class. His charming, good looks and rugged demeanor were inescapable. Somehow, I was the lucky girl he chose to sleep with him.

“Crap!” I yelled in my bathroom as I looked at the time on my phone. It was fifteen minutes until I had to be at our meeting place. I lived just outside of campus and driving there, finding a parking space, and rushing into the room would take at least ten more minutes than I had.

I did what I could with my dark brown hair, which ended up being a quick blow dry before tossing the strands back into a ponytail. It wasn’t very sexy, but I had to make due. Then I reapplied my mascara before slipping on a stone necklace that Walker gave me after our third encounter. I went to rush out the door again, but I saw that it was still pouring rain.

Of course, the college didn’t see rain all winter semester, but during the week before spring break– and my last before I graduated– the weather was relentless. I grabbed a few magazines from my coffee table and put them over my head as a shield.

“This is so ghetto!” I said to myself as I rushed through the drenched parking lot. The magazines quickly soaked with water and nearly pulled apart in my hands until I reached the driver’s door. I threw myself into the dry car and tossed the magazines on the rubber mat next to me. “Note to self: get an umbrella.”

Then I saw the envelope sitting on the passenger’s seat. It was white with a baby blue bow wrapped perfectly around the top. My heart dropped as I thought about showing it to him. Before I could dwell on it any longer, I grabbed the envelope and shoved it into my pocket.

After driving around and frantically looking for a spot in the parking lot, I found one at the furthest end from the geology building. By the time I reached the doors, the magazines had looked like multicolored globs. I threw them away in a trash bin and rushed down the stairs. My feet echoed all around the empty stairwell. Most of the students finished their finals for the semester and had gone for spring break. I was ready to go home, too, but I had one last stop.

I burst through the doors of the dark room. It was warm at the bottom of the building. I saw the glow of the furnace emanating from across the room. This was also where they kept the older library collection. Books spread across the space, packed into shelves that rested against the walls.

“Look who showed up,” I heard Walker say from a nearby table. My glance quickly shifted as I caught sight of him sitting at a table in the center of the room.

“I’m so sorry, professor,” I said. “It was raining and I–“

“Are we still calling me professor?” he asked in a low tone. Then Walker stood up from his seat and stepped toward me. He was wearing a fitted, gray button up shirt and black slacks. I could make out the bulge of his muscular biceps beneath the fabric.

“Habit, I suppose,” I said softly as he approached.

“I like it when you call me that,” Walker growled as he stopped in front of me. We were nearly touching as he towered above me in the dark room. Then he scanned my body with his eyes. “You look sexy when you’re wet.”

“Do I now?” I asked, coyly.

“Extremely,” Walker said as he leaned into me. His mouth pressed against mine. I felt the warmness of his tongue roughly whirl in my mouth. Then he pulled away, lightly biting my lip before letting go.

“Okay, professor,” I said playfully as I ran my hand down his chest. I could feel his chiseled pectorals like beneath his shirt. “What today’s lesson?”

“We’re studying rock formation,” he said, grabbing my wrist with his rough fingers. Then he pulled my hand down to his crotch.

  The Naughty Professor

I felt his thick cock underneath. As I began to rub it, I felt it heat up and grow beneath my palm.

“This feels too fleshy to be a rock,” I teased.

“Oh yeah?” Walker asked. “Maybe you need a closer look.”

“Just my thoughts,” I replied. Then I got down to my knees and pulled apart his belt. Within seconds, I had his cock in front of me. It was long, thick, and smooth. My lips opened up, and I popped his beautiful cockhead into my mouth.

“Shit,” Walker groaned. “I swear that you give the best head ever.”

I continued to swirl my mouth on his meat as he unbuttoned his shirt. Walker stopped, and I saw his knees buckle with each of my long, deep suctions. However, I also felt his pleasure. Satisfying my hyper attractive professor was more than enough reason to get me excited. I could feel the warmth growing between my thighs with each of his groans.

Suddenly, his hand gripped under my chin. I looked upward into his steel colored eyes. His mouth met mine, and we shared another rough kiss. He always liked to taste my mouth after I had sucked his cock. The thought to me was both alarming and hot.

>   “Get up,” he commanded and I slowly made it to my feet. He met me with a third kiss as his hands found their way up my skirt. I lifted my leg as he slipped off my thong. Walker tossed it to the floor and pressed his fingers between my thighs.

“Ah,” I moaned as he fingers made fierce circles at my opening.

“Nice and wet,” Walker said as before he started to suck on my neck. Then he spun around and slammed me onto the desk. The force was sharp, but heated. “You like it rough, don’t you, baby?”

“Walker…” I sighed in pleasure as he pushed his fingers out of me.

“Call me professor,” he said as his cock began parting my legs. Each slide of his thick meat sent tingling sensations around my pussy.

“Yes, professor,” I said as I looked him in his handsome eyes.

“Beg for me to fuck you,” he said as he finished unbuttoning his shirt. The fabric parted, showing his muscular chest and flat stomach.

“Fuck me,” I groaned as I looked at his amazing body.

  “Harder.”

“Fuck me now, Professor Bellamy!” I screamed. “I need your beautiful cock in my tight pussy.” That did the trick. Walker shoved me down again and forced his thick tool deep in me. I felt his girth rushing through my walls as he started to slam away at me on the desk.

I yelled in satisfaction as his hand grabbed my ponytail and forced my head backward. My neck arched upward as he leaned and pressed his lips on my throat. Just a few more pumps and I would find myself in ecstasy.

“Come for me,” he commanded as he held my leg up on the desk. The other was barely holding onto the floor as his powerful body sung at me over and over again. Then Walker pulled his cock out a bit and spit downward. The wetness slunk onto my clit and he pushed it inside of my body.

“Ah!” I screamed, as the sensation was too much to bear. My fingers crushed against the edge of the table as he brought me into a full climax.

“Yes!” Walker groaned, as he pulled himself free of my body. He stroked his thick cock, sending streams of his sweet cream all over the desk and me. When he was done, we collapsed together on the hard, warm wood.

  “That was amazing,” I panted.

“Too bad the semester is over, right?” Walker said through kisses on my lips.

“Actually,” I said while pulling away from him. I pushed my shirt down and adjusted my top as I stepped over the floor. Then I found my jacket that was somehow tossed onto a nearby chair and pulled out the white envelope with the bow.

“What’s that?” he asked as he pulled up his slacks.

“Check it out,” I said as I handed it to him. Walker opened it up and began reading the note.

“A wedding invitation?” he asked. His tone was shy and confused in a way that I hadn’t expected.

“One of my best friends, Mairead, is getting married to her high school sweetheart,” I explained with a slight quiver in my voice. “I know that you and I have just sort of been doing… this… but I was wondering if you wanted to fly out and join me as my date?”

“As your date?” Walker seemed startled by this. My heart began to beat faster.

“Why not?” I asked while attempting to feign bravery. “We seem to have great chemistry– though, this was supposed to be an advanced geology class.” My lighthearted joke fell on deaf ears.

“Jill, I’m your professor,” Walker said as he started to pace. “We’re not even supposed to be doing this. I could get fired if anyone knew.”

“You’re not my professor once this semester is over,” I reminded him. “Also, no one will judge us there. After all, Mairead is marrying her cousin.”

“Her what?” Walker looked at me strangely. “What kind of wedding are you going to?”

“No, no,” I laughed. Suddenly, I realized that I hadn’t explained enough. “They aren’t related by blood… It’s actually a very sweet story… Well, this girl did die, but yeah.”

“Jill…” Walker said softly as he approached me.

“I’m explaining this whole thing very terribly,” I said. “The truth is, I like you a lot and I want you to come with me. I leave tonight for an event before the wedding, but I was thinking that I could buy you the last minute fare when I get to the airport.”

Walker stared at me in the eyes for a few more moments. I couldn’t tell if he was mulling over our conversation or starting to believe that I was crazy.

“We can’t do this anymore,” he said. I was shocked. I knew that there were a million ways that this could have gone– including downhill– but I still wasn’t prepared.

  “I don’t see why not,” I said.

“You’re not listening to what I’m trying to tell you.”

“Then just tell me!” I shouted. My voice seemed to boom all around us in the open room. There was a moment of complete silence that followed until Walker spoke again.

“This has gone too far,” he said softly. “If you have feelings, then we need to end it.”

“Walker–” I said trying to stop him. However, my attempt was in vain.

“I’m sorry, Jill,” he muttered as he passed by me. Then he put on his blazer and left me alone in the hot, dark room.

  Escape

I felt crushed. Though I held back my tears on the drive back home, the rain wasn’t of any help. Each dropped that smashed against my windshield attempted to pull the water from my eyes. A lump formed in my throat as though I had just swallowed a poison apple.

As soon as I reached the front door of my apartment, I collapsed. The tears fell like the rain outside onto the hardwood flooring. How could have done that to me? How could I have been so stupid? All of the worry in the world wasn’t enough preparation for this cold reality.

Looking around, I couldn’t bear being on campus. Everything around reminded me of Walker. The stone necklace felt as though it were wrapped too tightly around my neck. I grabbed the chain and broke it free at the latch. The stones pulled off of the metal and bounced off of the floor.

“Why would you give this to me?” I asked while looking at the dark blue stones rolling by my hands. Their color reminded me of Walker’s eyes; unforgiving and cold.

I grabbed what I could of the necklace and tossed it into the trash. Then I rushed into my room and ripped my luggage from the closet. As quickly as I could, I found clothes and threw them into the case before sealing it shut.

My crush had kept me away from my friends and family. So many of my decisions were placed around Walker. In the summer, I stayed on campus just to take his mineralogy course. At that time, it was my mere crush, but by the end of the session, our tryst had begun. Even during the winter break, I attended his excursion to a volcanic island in the southern hemisphere. While the other students were asleep, Walker and I fucked all night in his tent. The passion was raw and intense, like nothing I had ever felt before. I thought he liked me, but as I collected the tears falling from my eyes, I just felt used.

As I lifted my packed bags off of the floor, I felt that I was picking myself up with them. Then I set them on the rug by the door and made my way into the bathroom. I looked at my swollen and puffy eyes. They were red around my green irises like a broke Christmas ordainment.

“This is what you were trying to avoid,” I said softly to myself. Then I took a deep breath, splashed a few drops of clearing solution in my eyes, and picked up my phone. “Hi, yes, I need a ride to the airport… Terminal One… I’m leaving for Las Vegas.”

  Bridesmaids

A shrill squeal bounced off the airport walls. It overrode the sounds of the chiming slot machines and the bustle of eager tourists that moved into the terminal that night. At first, I didn’t think it was aimed at me until I saw the creator of the piercing noise.

Her red hair seemed to spout for miles like her enthusiastic squeal. It was the sound that could only come from one person that I knew: my childhood best friend, Penny Valtrese.

“You’re here!” she screeched as onlookers squinted at the ecstatic girl. I had
only been off of the plane for thirty seconds and was already being accosted. Penny flung her arms around me and squeezed so tightly that my shoulders felt as though they had lost all feeling.

“Hi, Penny!” I said in an attempt to match her enthusiasm– though I knew that it was impossible to do so. Growing up, she was always the misguided ray of sunshine. I, on the other hand, felt like the Debbie Downer of our duo. Something inside of me felt that I had to compensate for Penny’s ridiculous behavior. Still, that was also one of her more fun qualities.

“I’m so glad that you’re here!” she shouted. “We have a lot to do to make Mairead’s bachelorette party the best. And I mean a lot!”

“Yay,” I said half-heartedly. It wasn’t that I didn’t feel excited; more so, I was terrified of what plans Penny could have concocted.

“You have to wear this!” Penny screeched as she opened her purse. Out came two, long, fluorescent pink ribbons. She slung one of them over my head to form a sash. There was writing made out in silver glitter that I couldn’t read from my angle.

“What does it say?” I reluctantly asked.

“Bridesmaids!” Penny shouted as she hurled on her matching sash. “Duh!”

  --

We took a limousine to the hotel, which was on the other side of the strip. I wanted to help Penny plan the party, however, I was so busy with school– and my crush on Walker– that I hadn’t made the time. Penny, on the other hand, graduated from college in just over three years. Many of her high school classes qualified her for nearly two semesters of units. She spent the past six months in our hometown of Mayville, planning her next move in life.

“Mairead is meeting us soon at the hotel,” Penny explained in the limo. “She’s bringing her college roommate who I’ve never met.”

“What’s her name again?” I asked while I searched my head.
